depends how old you are. when you are young its best to stick to someone around your own age maybe 1 or 2 years younger or older so you can relate to the same things. when you get older say 30+ then 10 years wouldn't be as big a difference as if you where 16 going out with a 26 year old.

I think it really depends on the maturity and age of the people in the relationship.
For example, it's not good for a 14 year old to date a 21 year old, but no-one would bat an eyelid at someone who was 21 dating someone who was 28.
Perhaps 40 or 50 years might be considered a bit too big a gap though, but to each their own, I say!

I think it depends on the age of an individual example:
If a 16 year old was going out with 25 year old that could be considered to be bad a 9 year age gap but if a 25 year old was going out with some one who is 34 years old its still a nine year age gap but doesnt sound bad. Do you see what i mean.
I think 10 years is quite enough its a decade after all!!

Ok,when you're in school and you're like 13,and u like a person that's 11,that may seem a huge gap,but it's the same as a 22 year old liking an 20 year old...and now that doesn't see so big,but 13--11 did..so maybe when you're over 20, and the other person is 18 and up,it's no biggy....and by they way i am dating an 11 year old...i'm 13..lmao

Depends if you're in the relationship, or judging it. When I was 19 I started dating a 54 year old man. Neither of us were desperate by any means, we both could have taken our pick of more "suitable" partners, but we just met one day and had instant chemistry. We were together for 3 years and never lost that chemistry, and as he was quite young minded and I was mature the age gap was never a problem. Many people were still horrified though lol.

Around the 20-25% mark is a bit too big e.g. if I am 30 then the partner should be over 22 & under 38.
(30 - 25% = 22.5, 30 + 25%.= 37.5)
If I were 20 then 16 - 25
At 40 then 30 - 50
So on & so forth

There is no age gap in love, if two people love each other it does not matter what the age difference is. The familes may be against the relationship but if the couple are strong and true to each other they should be able to ride the storm. Good luck.

No age gap is too big... although if there older than your parents that would be weird!
There's 5 years between my partner and me, my brother and his misses have a 7 year gap !!!
There are no rules when it comes to love, what ever feels right and comfortable!!!

It really depends on the situation and if there's the right chemistry present.
I know someone who's in a 28 year age difference relationship and they seem to have no problems at all--a lot of other people did when they first started dating but after a while it was accepted.

There's nothing like a too big age gap, just too intolerant people. Don't care about what other say and think, do what you like as long as it's legal.
