lets sum up what we know:

1) it is not a communicable disease, that is its not air borne or water etc... (this includes mosquito)

2) it can infect through an infected syringe, that means its in the blood

NOW:

if it is in the blood, why doesn't a mosquito bite transfer the disease (like malaria),

That means some chemical in a mosquito kills the virus rite?

afraid not, aids is caused by the sharing of fluids (semen blood etc) mosquitos don't put blood into the body they take it out so there is no sharing of fluids

I am not sure if there is a chemical in a mosquito that kills aids. But if a mosquito bites a person infected with aids then bites a animal the animal wont get aids because only people can get aids so maybe the mosquito can't get it so it can't pass it on. Just like humans can't get some animal dseases. Hope some of that makes sense and helps

Maverick...I see, and the mosquito transfers malaria by just taking, not giving...your theory is a bit off here.

This is an excellent question, but has been explored...keep thinking, it only takes one mind to come up with a solution!

I'm sure there is always the possibility of a cure, but there may be many factors delaying it. I would think that if scientists knew this pretty simple fact, and if it could lead to a breakthrough, they would've already explored it. Who knows though.

If only it was that simple friend, it would have been thought of by now. Good thinking though.

Yes, but NO. It isn't as easy at it sounds. Maverick18 has said it all.
