Honey I think that you are actually looking for the story of Jonah and the whale. I don't think he killed the whale. Jonah repented for his inobedience to God and so the whale vomited him up and he went on the mission that God had given him.

I think you are confused, in the Bible when the whales were killed when Jesus sent a universal flood to destroy everything except for Noah and his family. Even the animals that live under the sea were destroyed during the Flood because they couldn't come up for air or because there was water shooting from underneath that possibly killed them. If you have a Bible read the first book in it, the book of Genesis, that will help you find what you are looking for if it is the King James Version

There is not whale spoke of in the bible. Jesus was in heaven at the time. You may be thinking of the big fish and noah. And in it was not at the time of the big flood, it was long after the flood.

Jesus never whacked a whale. Supposedly Jonah was swallowed by one but not during the flood that gave us Noah and his ark--back to Sunday school with you young lady :)

I'm not actually answering this question, because I'm a firm believer that ignorance is bliss and who am I to interrupt that? lol...I just wanted to say that whales are MAMMALS not FISH and that WHALES BREATH AIR, NOT WATER, via a blowhole....not that it really makes a difference....I just had to stick my 2 cents in through the slits in Genius's foot-ball helmet...
