I have this weird buzz... almost dizzy but pretty much just a buzz. It started yesterday and it's gotten stronger today. I stopped taking my anti-depressants (woo-hoo!) 5 days ago... could this be why? I can't think of anything else... I haven't been drinking or been on anything else. There has been no other change except for the anti-depressants.

Definately. I haven't tried them, but I have read much and know people who have taken them and I know with at least the ssri's , that is common. Some people try to stop it too suddenly. If you have done that, try a more gradual discontinuation of the meds. and the withdrawl effects will be much less.

Yes, most definately! Most anti-depressants should be weaned off of over a period of a few weeks. Some can do worse than causing a buzz in your head with sudden withdrawal.

You're not just supposed to stop them all at once, depending on how long you've been taking them. Sounds like that is what the buzz is from.

Your doctor should have eliminated you week by week on smaller amounts of the antidepressant, so you wouldn't have the buzz.
