I want to become either a chef / chemist / hair dresser / but I'm worried I wont get no where in life.
I have no energy and dont push for what I want but need to do something with my life and one other thing is that I have aspergers its a disease were you cant fuction like a normal person like you cant be social so I really have no friends and when I go places I dont talk to no one and it stops me from doing what I want cause its like my brain is missing that part to be social so its hard for me and even people I knew for 3 years I dont talk to.
HELP!

I know what you mean - Im not motivated and Im extremely lazy - most of the time I just cant be bothered to make the effort, but I still have a great enthusiasm for some things, (although not 'worthwhile' things like work) I dont know what the answer is but there are obviously things that you find interesting and you just have to follow them until something sparks.

well, out of the three, probably a chemist is required to spend the least time talking to people, i would think. but if this is something that could be improved upon, maybe you should take the step to work towards one of these goals and maybe being in the environment where you have to get used to people will help? a hair dresser really does have to be able to talk to strangers everyday...a chef might be a good balance, and a practical goal. i know someone going to chef school. probably some interaction with people, but the same ones all the time, people you could maybe get more & more comfortable with? maybe start by taking a class? i have a real problem with self motivation. but it's easier for me anyway if i'm obligated, like if i know i have to go to this class at this time, get this assignment done by this day, etc. in addition, i often feel i have no energy when i'm innactive. occasionally, haveing something i have to do or like doing charges me up.

You sound quite unhappy sometimes i am not social cos i got my grandaughter at home all the time and have lost my confidance a bit and get fed up. sometimes experts just put labels on things, i think you are fed up basically and need to do some voluntary work if you cant, make friends how come you already have some then. don,t allow yourself to be labelled you need to get out to cheer up help a local charity.

lack of motivation...theres an A1 cure...and its harsh. put yourself in the middle of situations where you wouldn't dare go maybe 3 or 4 times..... ya you'll feel humiliated and awkward.. the 5th time youll be ready to contribute .. you'll find yourself stronger and wanting to do more. ya cant find the top untill you've been on the bottom

Be a writer.

Explain your life in a book called "My life with Asperger's."

Good luck.
