Not to mention the fact that it disgusts the rest of us.
Seriously, dude, get yourself out of the deep south and pronto, and wish all three of these Jerry Springer future stars the best.

You didn't say if a judge has already issued a support decree. I presume you are not living w them.

If/when she files for support you will have the opportunity to accept paternity, or exercise your right to a paternity test.

The test will determine , & if you have any doubts request the test.

I did, tho I had only minimal doubt. The test will cost around $150-200 & if you are not the father you pay nothing.

The test will either come back in the 93-98% range for yes, or a BIG ZERO for no!! Good Luck!

Late edit- Hold off on the lawyer unless you are already paying, probably won't be needed.

If you signed the child's birth certificate that makes you liable to pay support for the child. You need to contact the courts to see about having a DNA test done to prove you are not the father.

I would go to court. If it's your ex wifes "father" was that "rape*"??? or by her choice?? either way ....the child is not yours so NO you don't have to pay child support. Go To Court* mind you your ex wifes father may go to jail* but he'll definately be paying child support*~

well...if your name is on the b-certificate then the answer is yes. If you are in the midst of a divorce---demand a paternity DNA testing done---temporarialy you'll pay child support until DNA testing is confirmed. Once this happens there will be no more support and make sure you have the judge order a judgement on this.

Sounds nasty and incestous----Your wife has some nerve

Technically, if the child is born while you were married, than you are considered the father, regardless of who fathered the child ,and depending where you live, yes you are responsible for child support...For your sake, if this is indeed true, I hope you do not have to pay.

If you have a paternity test and it shows you are not the father then you wouldnt pay child support. No man supports another mans child unless he so chooses to. No court can force you to pay for another person's child.

I don't think so. Did you go to court over the child support? If so, did you tell the judge that the child is not yours?
If your child support has not been court ordered, you need to get a good lawyer and go to court.

If you have prove that the child is not yours then you dont have to pay unless you love your wife and want to take everything that belongs to her and maybe adopting the child, it is your choice but i think everybody has to support his or her own child.
