There's a girl I really like. Anyways we went out for about two days but she broke it off because of her ex boyfriend issues. She mentioned it as complications but she still likes him.

Anyways I kind of blew it by unloading on her prematurely too much of my feelings after the break up (It was only two days after all so I feel stupid that I did that). By feelings I mean stuff like "O, I may never find another girl like you again".

I think I may have ruined the chance of us being just friends.

She came online briefly after I had sent her an apology saying I was being a jackass and selfish. Anyways we didn't talk for long as she said she was going out and that was it.

When I asked her out I gave her a cd, a compilation of some of my best songs. Do you think I should send her some via email to try to keep in touch? Or would I just be imposing when she is happy with her boyfriend? Or do you think she would appreciate it?

It is some pretty damn good music, if not the best.

She likes the same music I do. Besides even if you don't appreciate Electronica you would respect it if you heard some of my choice selection.

You would be imposing. If it was meant to be between the 2 of you it would have been. I would just lay low maybe something will happen between the 2 of them and they will split again. Just email her and leave an open invite telling her if she ever needs a friend she knows how to reach you.

Aye. Let her go. Set sail matey. Two days is like half a discharge to the spitton.
Best to get out yer compass and kit and set a new chart.
swig on the rum for me a wink.
When ye come to, getcher nose clean and keep yer powder dry.
Get yer mates to set the hooks to toss the plank and raid elsewhere.
Leave a bragging note behind with an open dated contract once you set dock in a new port
If ye find yerself chasing the hussies again just be sure ta not write a check yer arrs cant cash.
give it a month. dont mess with email. send something by hand.
if she bothers to respond then maybe whatever from there.

I say shoot yourself in the face. It'll be a conversation starter whenever you meet some new woman.

umm ... "some of your best songs".. not hers... perhaps your being a jackass and selfish again?

perhaps first find out what music she is into before diving in next time?

I say if you really like her show her that you appreciate her. Try to give her space but dont' back off. If you really like somebody you should go for it no matter what.

I think I'd just leave her alone before she starts to think you're some kind of stalker psycho.
