I am totally infatuated with this guy at my work and I want to pursue a relationship with him. The kicker...my dad works with us and right now would NOT be a good idea for him to know. I am 30 years old and had to move back in with my parents for unfortunate reasons. His bro works with us and so we can't meet here, at work or at his house. I don't have a car right now either. Any good ideas of how I can hook up with him w/o anyone knowing. Oh, I just moved from out of state and don't have any friends here to say that I am hanging out with soooo...any sneaky ideas!

Let me elaborate, I respect my dads opinions, I just (for other reasons) let him know I am dating this guy. The question is..What ideas does anyone have of how we can hook up for now.

Girl you are a grown a.s.s woman. You should be able to date without your dad's consent. Go for him right before your dad's eyes and if your dad has something to say remind him kindly that you are "30 not 16"
P.S. the only thing you're crazy about is that guy from work...so you better go get em' girl!
To answer your question you can tell your dad that you are going to catch a movie. That should work, good luck!

Well, since you don't have any other friends right now, start spending time with him as friends. Go to the bar after work or take your lunch breaks together. Ask him to bring other people along so it doens't look all date-like, and so you can start meeting new people. Your dad shouldn't have a problem with your making friends the only place you can.
On the other hand, if your father has serious objections to this guy, you might ask yourself why. I'm not saying he should tell you what to do or who to date (because he shouldn't) but there might be some legitimate reason he doesn't like this guy. After all, your dad and he worked together long before you came back. He might have cheated on his last girlfriend, have a drug problem, or in some other way be generally unsavory. Find out all you can before pursuing a relationship. If you have to sneak around, if you're not proud of what you're doing, you probably shouldn't do it!

But it might be best to let him go. That is unless you know more about his personality. Otherwise your like for him may be purely down to harmones. You should stick with your parants and show them you appreciate their support. Then find someone out of the way.

well...yes...there are some..
you can say that you are going out to the market
you want to just hang out in the city
you can go to yours neighbours place and make friends in a day or two and then go out with them
you can contact that person through e-mail or orkut or any messenger or even call him and fix up something
