If you care to look at my profile and see few of the answers, you will be glad to know that I have criticised some Muslim askers [ I am a Muslim myself] who tried to disgrace Hinduism & Christianity.
That doesnt mean that I was defending Hinduism or Christianity. No I was in fact defending Islam.
Likewise you are not defending Islam but you are just following beautiful teachings of your religion.
Sooooooooo.............. when you are following teachings of YOUR religion and have courage to speak the TRUTH, how can you be a bad person ?
Look at the answers. You got 10 outa 10.
Keep it up & God bless you.

There's nothing wrong with that. I'm assuming you don't believe in the Muslim faith, but rather just defend Muslims when they are unfaily attacked (which is often). That's perfectly acceptable, and actually quite honorable. You deserve credit for being able to support your own religion without closing your mind to other people's beliefs.
I'm agnostic, but I sometimes defend Christian beliefs, not because I share them, but because people unfairly attack them or misinterpret them.

Hon, don't worry about it.
These people are judging you before they can know you - only God can judge you. And anyone worth your time and concern would not be so quick to assume something like your religion, based on one remark. I think you are a GOOD person, no matter what religion you are, if you can defend a persons right to believe what they should desire - and I want to personally congratulate you on your courage and open-mindedness *hugs*

U are defending the God that create religions. Be it, jews, christians, muslim, paganism,..etc. We all believe in one very supreme being. I'm just sad that we ( people of faith), doesn't come in terms with each other. We are putting energy to hate each other rather than love one another. Isn't the basic requirement of all religion is love? I don't knoe man. Its just sad that good deeds have lost it ways. I just have to put my hats off u ( respect! ). U r a genuine fighter of love. And Love is God. And Love is You.

Friend, your first mistake is to Defend islam, The God Of Israel does not need to be defended, God himself will defend , God need no man to defend his word, Because there are true, If you need somthing to Defend their teaching, Then they don' have the comfortor, & no one can show them the truth.

People who only care about religious bigotry when it is directed at them are hypocrites. They may say they care about bigotry, but their actions say they only care about the perceived oppression of their own religion.
Congratulations - you're actually living your faith.
We need more voices opposing religious bigotry and the spread of misinformation about various religions.
I think you'll appreciate this below, which was written at a United Religions Initiative conference in Africa a number of years ago:
(I added one religious group that the author omitted):
In striving to recognize the primacy of Fire and Light,
I feel kinship with my Zoroastrian brothers and sisters.
In striving to obey the Ten Commandments,
I feel kinship with my Jewish brothers and sisters.
In striving to be kind to neighbor and the needy,
I feel kinship with my Christian brothers and sisters.
In striving to be compassionate to creatures great and small,
I feel kinship with my Buddhist-Jaina brothers and sisters.
In striving to surrender myself completely to God Almighty,
I feel kinship with my Muslim brothers and sisters.
In the recognition that wisdom flows from enlightened masters,
I feel kinship with my Sikh brothers and sisters.
In remembering that serving people should be the goal of religion,
I feel kinship with my Baha'i brothers and sisters.
In my respect and reverence for Nature that sustains us,
I feel kinship with my Native American and Pagan brothers and sisters.
In feeling that these and more are all paths to the same Divinity,
I feel kinship with my Hindu brothers and sisters.
In my love and laughter, joy and pain,
I feel kinship with all my fellow humans.
In my need for nourishment and instinct to live on,
I feel kinship with all beings on the planet.
In my spiritual ecstasy with this wondrous world,
I feel kinship with the Cosmic Whole.
