It all depends how important your respective religions are in your respective lives, and how tolerant you are of others. I never preach my religion to friends/bf's because I think it's an intensely private matter, and none of my business.
However, I had a friend who was a Jehovah's Witness for a while, and she almost made me throw up many times with all the BS, but then finally I made clear to her that she has to respect my choice as I respect hers. We got along great after that.

One suggestion: NEVER EVER let religious belifs get between you and the one you love. If you love each other you have to respect each other, which means that each of you should keep his/her own believes out of the relationships, ALWAYS. None of you chould ever try to convert the other one. Just be tolerant and keep religion to where it really belongs: to the intimate and personal sphere. No preaching, no showing off, no redeeming impulses, or you'll loose that love.

There's nothing wrong with falling inlove with someone with a different religion. Share whatever goodness you have in you. Maybe you could learn from each other's faith.

Respect her religion and acknowledge her and love her for who she is, and not her ethnic backround. The same goes with men of different religions, too.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

It won't last long, believe me, I've been there. However, that's no reason to not pursue a relationship with someone of a different religion.
