There are many things that Scientists can not explain. The problem with the common cold is that it changes it's make up very often. You can't make a vaccine for it because the make up of that disease has changed before one can find a vaccine. Is it a miracle from God? I believe that God holds data from us Humans so we will know that we as humans do not know anything. There is God who knows everything and there is man who is limited with what he knows. God allows the cold so that we as humans will remember that it is ONLY God who knows everything and we need him to exist.

Science cannot explain everything, you have to remmeber that the human being has only a finite mind, as compared to the infinite intelligence of God,I have yet to see any good coming from the type of science that debunks God and is driven by financial rewards, however we have gained much in the last 100yrs from moral and humble scientists and in this we have to say that not all science is incompatible with religion.

The cold is caused by the influenza virus which is a microorganism.
The symptoms you feel are you body fighting and reacting to the invasion. Though life is a miracle on any scale. What scientists have yet to understand is how these microorganisms communicate with are cells. Which a corruption of these system is how most cancers are caused. The need to know this is one of the foundations of stem cell research.

The cold is as a result of sin. We human beings being disobedient to God's instruction for us to eat healthy cause our selves to become sick . He naturally gave it for us to eat fruits and vegetables mainly fruits but we started eating the wrong things and in essence set our selves up for whatever the atmosphere brings at us. God can bring no evil upon people and therefore the cold cannot be from God.

Yes, and so how come they are so sure that God isn't real even though they can't explain Him either, so I guess the cold is just a figment of everyone's imagination as well.

i think they can explain it, they just do't know how to cure it. there are something like 326 col viruses, because of this they can't give 326 cold vaccines, because they are all different. what dos happen is that your body devlops a defense against one cold, but a different strand comes along leaving you vulnerable becaus eyour body hasno defense against this one
