The One True God
The first Christians, like the Jews before them, were fiercely monotheistic, willing to die horrible martyrs’ deaths in the Coliseum—being slain by gladiators, devoured by wild animals, crucified, or tied to a stake and turned into human torches—rather than concede the existence of any other gods.
This adamant insistence on monotheism is taken directly from the teaching of the Bible. Thus, in John 17:3 Jesus addresses his Father, saying, "And this is eternal life, that they know you—the only true God."
Despite the clarity of this statement and numerous others concerning the existence of one—and only one—God, some modern groups reject Jesus’ teaching. Mormons, for example, claim that there is an innumerable multitude of gods and that new gods are being formed all the time. Some gods are supposed to be older than the Father, and it is taught that human beings can eventually become gods through practicing Mormonism.
This is in direct contradiction to the declaration of God himself in the book of Isaiah: "‘You are my witnesses,’ says the Lord, ‘and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me’" (Is. 43:10).
The first Christians took God at his word and were willing to stake even their lives on the certainty that there is only one God.

No, and also you'll locate various difficulty with that wondering that a real faith is chanced on with popularity. 600 (600) years earlier the Islam faith arose, Jesus Christ stated “bypass in with the help of the narrow gate; because vast and spacious is the line most suitable off into destruction and many are those entering into with the help of it; while narrow is the gate and cramped the line most suitable off into existence, and few are those searching it.” Bible textual content Mathew 7:13&14. there is in user-friendly words one Holy e book and that isn't any longer the Koran, that's the Bible. And, there is in user-friendly words one authentic God, and it isn't Allah, the authentic God is the God of the Bible, Jehovah. and those who search for Him will locate the reality, and that is the “street to existence.”

The 'true' religion must follow Jesus as their example.
Jesus was doing what his Father in heaven wanted.
So everything Jesus said was as good as coming direct from Almighty God.
Jesus always made God's NAME...manifest.
What IS God's personal NAME?
Exodus 6;3...Psalm 83;18...Jehovah
Jesus gave us the 'model' prayer...Matthew 6; 9,10
To pray for God's Kingdom.
Of which Jesus will be the King.
But still not ABOVE Jehovah his Father in heaven.
And Jesus is NOT God himself, but his son.
they are two individuals.
There is NO third party to make up any Trinity.
The Holy Spirit is God's power, not a third individual.
It can be dispensed or granted to us by God.
And the true religion obeys Matthew 24;14 and 28; 19,20
Compare these basics against all so called Christian religions and only one will fulfill the requirements.
As for middle East and oriental religions, they are a whole lot of traditional practices that promise no better future.
All this on the basis that there IS nly ONE Almighty God who demands to be worshipped HIS way.
IF there were multiple ways to God's approval, why would HE have had the Bible written for us?
He would just let us go on our own sweet way and maybe choose just the good ones.
Simple good ones may yet gain approval. But they would fail on the requirement of Matthew 28; 19,20
That decision is God's

Of all the religions in the world the one that teaches you the most scientific nature of the way of life and the universal phenomena and the most logical way and freedom of thinking and encourages the search for truth is the one that is great . Just go through the scriptures of all religions and see which one teaches you peaceful co-existence and the scientific nature of the forces of nature and encourges you to question anything and every thing in the search for truth.find out the one which treats everybody alike and does not spare even God from punishment for sins.
It is in Hinudis that the wrong doers evn if they happen to be Gods are not spared .Lord Shiva the most powerful and the primus inter pares among the Hindu Gods had to go begging for food as a punishment for nipping one of the four heads of Brahma .This, punishment the God sufferd for his intolerance and anger . Hindu mythology replete with instnces of the Gods sufferneing punishments for thier mistakes and being cursed by saints for thier faults .The moral is that no body shall do wrong and no body however great he is, shall be exempted from punishment for his wrongs. This is the the most democratic religion that allows you to call God by any name and worhip or even curse God The only religions that .allows you to worship God in any form that pleases you.The only religon that does not compel you to visit the temples regularly as it says that god being every where can be worshipped from anywhere and can be seen anywhere.and everywhere .The only religions that does not require you to pay to the temple anythng for worshipping God even if you happen to be the richest man in the world .It treats the rich and the poor alike .This religion is the Hindu religion.
This is the only religion that considers tha the faithfull performance /discharge of one's duty is the sacred offering and
worship of God .One whoi dose his duty as a sacred oferning to god has no need to god to any temple and need not even think of God .

Faith can't be proven because it is faith. You either believe, aren't sure or you do not believe. You aren't going to be able to look through a telescope and find God sitting on some celestial cloud. Even if you did, people would still have to believe that it was God they saw and not some other phenomenon.
Atheists and believers that get into the "You can't prove it!" debate always end up in a version of the logical fallacy of argument ad ignorantiam...on either side! It is an unwinnable debate. Pointless! All it does is raise everyones blood pressure!
For me, I find truth in Catholic Christianity because it truly speaks to who I am and what I value. I believe it is true, or I would not bother to follow it--that would be a waste of time/effort.
I cannot tell others what to believe and people can't be forced to believe one thing or another. That is a personal journey. Only God can say in the end. I have no doubt but what we'll all find out eventually. Certainly, when my time comes to meet my maker, I'll have plenty of 'splainin' to do. So, I'm not about to go beating anyone else over the head with anything (all I ask is that people refrain from beating me over the head...pretty please..gives me a headache).
I say, if you're in the market for the "truth" go out and see for yourself. Attend mass, big-tent evangelical meetings, Unitarian Universalist gatherings, a Brights group etc. all of it, and read, and look at what the people of that religion are trying to do in the world (as a group). Decide for yourself. What makes sense to you? What speaks to your heart? What seems to be pulling you in?
And if you decide to be an atheist, ask yourself if you can live and die by that conviction. Can you rest easy at night? Does life still hold value and meaning for you?
You're the only one that can say. We all find out soon enough. Bottom line: belief cannot be proven, disected or put under a microscope.

There's a true one. Look for the religion who's followers abide by what is written in the Bible. Those who truly worship and believe in the one, true God. A group who does not go with the flow of the material world. People who could avoid the temptations of superficial highs like alcohol and drugs. Those who could remain faithful to their wives, lead righteous lives and are able to raise their children in a good way. Look for religious leaders who strictly practice what they preach. I can say that a group that practices this is the true religion. The bible says there is, so I believe that.

No.
The best that we each can do is to find a religion (or non-religious ethical system) that supports us in practicing practical, applied, objective compassion to others...and then live by it.
This will be different for different people.

Depends on someones openness! And, some things will never be proved, which is why we have faith! Faith fills in the gaps of what our minds cannot comprehend.
But I can tell you, Asker, that Jesus Christ said these words, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, nobody comes to the Father, except through me." Going to the Father means believing with all your heart that He is everything He says He is and living for Him and someday living eternally with Him.
Thanks for the question!
