I'm 47 years old and this young man is 24. I like him and I think he likes me. I do believe we both want more from this relationship but we have both made some mistakes with each other along the way. What to do? What do you think of the age gap?

Come on! Think about it. If both of you are serious, you might want to re-think it. Would his parents approve of you? Do you have kids his age? Do you have kids at all? Does he want a family? Think he can handle it when you turn 60? He will be only 37, you know. I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but there's a lot to consider when there's a big difference in age. I bet he still plays video games! I think you need to find someone closer to your own age.

Go for it. There are many genuine couples which have been "mail order". I think the majority of women that are apart of such arrangements want the same things you do, kids, security, a roof over their heads, a better life, and a partner they can rely on. One friend corresponded with a lady for a couple of years and caught up with her on overseas trips etc. They got to know each other, he didn't just point at face in a catalogue and order a woman. I don't think in principle there is any wrong with it. And I don't believe "many men who do this are jerks who have to look overseas because they treat women like crap". I there is a range of reasons why men do this. But there is risks, and there are unscrupulous people out there so be careful

Age doesnt matter but a young man can dumb u later for a younger girl. Not unless its real lovers and you's are meant to be together.
