Im really looking for serious answers please - like is there any ancient text or any verses in the Bible or Quoran or any other religious reference to this.
If you happen to have any more info on the subject I would be interested in reading as much as I can.
This may sound stupid but does anyone seriously believe in the possibility of being tricked into selling your soul to the devil? I believe this is possible. I also believe it is possible to do this unknowingly only to realise later what you have done......

You can sell your soul to the devil automatically even without any notice or prior investigating it. Its a curse we inherited since Adam and Eve...i don't mean to sound traditional but once a human being is born he needs to be "born again" inorder to be free from the curse...Certainly if you believe you can sell urself to demons....Believe also that God exists and has already taught people how to break free from Satans grasps on humans.
This God did when Jesus offered Himself on the cross..
Now all you have to do missy, is to believe that Jesus is Lord and has power over all. And i mean every power and dominion in spiritual places even.
Now if one is referring to dark spirits and the occult forces, know that they will loose their power on you, once you draw near to God, the Almighty. The devils' worst enemy.
Believe that in Jesus Christ you can be born again and He can set you free..

Not possible...according to 1 John, all the whole world (ie humanity) is under the power of the devil. Christians believe that all humans already 'belong' to the devil because of sin, and the only way to reverse that is to become a Christian (by being born again and receiving forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ). Only then can we belong to the Kingdom of God. However, even though humans are under the devil's power, God STILL OWNS ALL SOULS because everything, even the devil, is created by God and are part of His creation, and all have to answer to God. Read Ezekiel 18:4 in the Old Testament.

I don't think Satan has any permanent ownership of anyone's soul. It doesn;t matter how anybody was tricked by him. If you turn to God and ask for forgiveness YOU ARE FORGIVEN. Satan can do nothing about that. If anyone thinks they may have made such a mistake, ask God to take control of your soul. Jesus died to "save us from Satan's' power" as the song says. I don't know of any bible verses that refer to someone having soled their soul. Jesus bought back every human soul. He has power over him. Turn to Jesus and He will not turn from you. You will be saved.

YES IT IS POSSIBLE but why sell something that Satan already has i am being honest with you ALL HAVE SINNED AND FELL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD for if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that JESUS is LORD ye shall be saved there is no such thing as a sin that was accidental happened that GOD WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU FOR!!

even though i dont believe in the devil , i will answer hypothetically
you think that if Satan existed , he has more power over your soul than the God who created your soul ?
that it can be sold for material possesions in this life
or how about sin for instance .... isnt all sin forgiveable ... no one is condemned to hell without being judged by God first

Idon't have the passage with me. But it says God owns your soul, the passage goes on but basically if god owns your soul then you can't sell it to the devil. Follow me on this. God owns your sould, you are punished for sin and God can choose to send you to hell ( through judgment) but you can't sell your soul, you can be tempted to lead a path of darkness but your soul is his, the whole give to ceasar what is ceasars type deal

Well, you could strike a deal in which you will convince someone to sell his soul. Two souls in exchange for one, perhaps the devil can't resist that.
