i've been in this on-off long distance relationship for 1yr, 8 mths.about 4 mnths back,he decided it wasn't working for him anymore since we barely get to meet each other and said that he doesn't see us working out. there was nothing i could do,so we broke up.since then, we've managed to remain broken up(the longest so far).but recently,i had a talk wit him and mentioned that i'm trying to get over him and move on.he didn't take that too well and said that he missed me.he says that he still loves me but he doesnt wanna get back coz of the distance and also coz he knows he's hurt me before and doesn't wanna hurt me anymore. he gets all possesive when i talk about other guys and behaves like he's still my bf. i don't get him at all.why is he doin this? if he loves me, shouldn't he want to be with me?he says we're friends now and i can see anyone but when i mention any guy, he gets jealous and pissed off. help!

well.. i personally still wanna be with him.. i've told him that i wanna move on only if he thinks its NEVER gonna work out for us.. to which he said.. i'm never gonna stop loving you but i cant stop you from seeing other guys. Is it too much to expect him to wanna be with me despite the distance?

i just cant stop communicating with him.. tried that but couldn't.. if we cant be together, i wanna keep him as a friend at least..

He is just feeling insecure and yet loves u at the same time. Bt if he truly loves u, he won't break off with u, long distance or not it's how strong ur love is for ur partner...it builts up trust too(of cos it goes both ways). But from those excuses he made abt long distance n doesn't see u guys working out..that's BS to me. In the first place...why dated for over a year! I think it's juz a lame excuse for him...leave him and move on girl! Trust me, when a guy truly loves u...he wld do anything....been there done that. All the best.

So wat kind of help r u looking 4.U dnt have to b frends wit him any more,some ex u can kip as friends and sum no.He knew u 2 wldnt work out but he still loves u.he wants something more real with another woman,his never coming again,move to where he is then u will have him but in the mean time stop communicating with him

he's jealous 'cause he wants to have a possibility with you. He is hoping that, while it isn't working now, that *some* day you and he will be living close to one another and be able to carry out a real relationship, but he doesn't want you seeing other guys because he wants you for himself.
Do your own thing, don't wait around for him. Actions speak louder than words.

He's got feelings for you, but is torn because he wants to be with you physically too. Since he can't, all he sees around him are other temptations, which (as a stand-up guy) he can't have unless he breaks up with you.
Hope you can close the gap. If not, it's probably not going to work.

it;s obvious that he still cares alot about you---the long distance seems to be the only problem you two have---maybe one of you should make the MOVE and get cloer to each other.
