Where did you get that information from? I am a Catholic and have never heard of it so please explain?

Ok thats wrong- gay priests being forced to adopt kids???? I think it is wrong that catholic adoption agencies are being forced to consider gay couples for adoption. My reason for feeling like this is firstly because there are plenty of adoption agencies out there, you cannot force catholics to practice something they don't preach. They do not believe it is right, leave them to it. Secondly I have to say that, and I mean no offence to gay people, children need to brought up ideally by a male and a female rolemodel as they both add different aspects that a child needs to grow. This is seen in many single parent families, a boy needs a male role model for example.

It's a State v Catholic Church thing in the UK, The State made a law that made it illegal to exclude Gays from adopting kids, the Catholic Church said it wouldn't let it's adoption agencies give kids to Gay couples as they think that Gay relationships are a sin!
There's a lot of talk, but as it doesn't affect many people, it's all a bit academic!

They are not being forced to adopt children. The Roman Catholic church does not want same sex couples adopting children. They are currently blackmailing the government wth the threat of closing down their adoption agencies if the law is passed that they can. This then openly displays discrimination which is against somebodies human rights.

I Think a Little Visit to your Local Clinic for the "Bewildered" might suit you --- Iv,e no knowledge if ANY Priests , Gay or Otherwise, being "Forced" to adobt any "Kids" ---- Suggest you have a Little Lay Down for a while ???

no one is making gay priests adopt kids.. what they are saying is that gay people can adopt children and the catholic churches don't agree with this and the catholic adoption society will not uphold this law

No homosexual should ever be allowed into the priesthood in the first place - even if they are celibate|
A homosexually oriented priest will wreak a parish|
This is because his orientation disables his ability to relate to his flock as *Father|*
What such a priest will do is run around all the time making sure that all the decorations in the Church are right|
Hardly a real man as a role model for other real men|
No wonder our churches are so top heavy with women with few men attending|
