Both of them are created for the protection of wild life but what is the difference between the two. Please help i am a bit confused

National parks are designed for people to enjoy the park features and provide opportunities for people and wildlife to mix.

Wildlife sanctuaries are designed to protect animals from people, and they often designed to keep people away from the animals so the wildlife is not disturbed.

The difference between a national park and a sanctuary is that no human activity is allowed inside a national park, while limited activities are permitted within the sancturary. Moreover, national parks receive more financial support from the Central government. national park is managed for ecosystem protection and recreation

Gir National Park Situated about 65km SE of Junagarh district in the state of Gujarat in South West India, the National Park was established on 18th September, 1965, as a Forest Reserve, primarily to conserve the Asiatic lion-classified as one of the World's most threatened species. Now Gir National Park is the only remaining place in the world, where one is likely to see the Asiatic Lion. More... The best months for visiting the park are October to June. Vansda National Park Set up in 1976 in the district of Bulser, this parks covers an area of 24sq.km. The nearest town and the rail head is Daghi, 3km away from the park. The nearest airport is Baroda, 249km away. The indicative fauna comprise the leopard and peafowl. The most suitable period for visiting the park is from December to January and April to May. Green turtleMarine National Park This park covers an area of 163sq.km. in the Gulf of Kutch in Jamnagar district. The park was setup in 1982. The nearest town from the park is Jamnagar at a distance of 7km. Jamnagar is also the airport and the rail head for visiting the park. The fauna of the park comprises dugong, green sea turtle, ridley, leather back and olive. The best period for visiting the park is from November to January.

Well first off not all National parks are created for the protection of wildlife. Some are historical monuments such as Mt. Rushmore etc. And it is run at the Federal level. Wildlife refuges can be at national or state levels and are for that purpose.

national park protects all species and put it for display.whereas in a wild life sanctuary the dwindling species are reproduced and cultured nurtured and created an environment best fitted for that particular species
