Only the original film. The Tim Burton remake is blasphemous.

There are no ifs here. We are descendant from the same line as apes not monkeys. At least the movie got that part right. As to the rest well it's a SF fairy tail so beyond being just entertainment it has no scientific educational value to warrant it being played in schools.
As a matter of fact all life on this planet is derived from the same bacteria that existed billions of years ago. All life comes from the same single cell way back then. This is established fact No IFS and maybes. You can deny it of course.but that doesn't make you right. This affair is very similar to the firm belief that the earth was at the centre of the solar system The church and its blind followers at the time not only denied it but killed and tortured to maintain the false belief. But they were wrong. and thy are wrong again. The main difference between science and this kind of religion is that the first demand proof while the second accepts only belief.

We're not reated to monkeys, apes etc etc... Some primates did actually evolve in some hominid species; however, the analysis of a Neanderthal's man's DNA showed that Neanderthales had nothing to do with Cro-magnons (Homo Sapiens), as these in facts had totally different features as well as a totally different DNA. So it's been scientifically proved that Homo Sapiens was a brand new breed that hasn't the slightest trace of ancestry from the Neanderthales. Mitochondrial DNA is passed down unchanged from mathers to their children and , apart from the odd random mutation, all today's humans (Homo Sapiens Sapiens)have very similar sequences. Homo Sapiens had a different DNA structure and no identifiable ancestral strain.

We ARE warring with each other over pity reasons and control issues. That seems like something a scared group of monkeys would do so yeah I think playing "Planet of the Apes" would lessen our self-inflated egos.

I can feel the force is strong in this one. Have you not thought that you might be hurting monkeys feelings saying such things. I think you should play Last Train To Clarksville instead.

If you look at the answers here, can you argue we are NOT related to monkeys?
