Honesty and communication?

Okay, I know that there are a lot of women (and men) that like to play head games out there, but I'm having trouble understanding why. In my 27 years on Earth, I have yet to ever play 'games' with a woman.

Is there some reason that I'm just not seeing? I know some people will say, "I do it to test how they really feel.", but why would you do that? Why not believe what the person says (and shows)? Isn't honesty and communication two of the most important parts of a relationship?

I'm just tired of women playing games. They show interest in you one day, than the next, they want nothing to do with you.

Honesty and communication are two important parts in a relationship.

But the reason being that they do things like this is because people will do or say whatever they need to in order to get what they want. And they have no regards towards the way it will make the other person feel in the long run. The world is full of cruel, heartless people. Trust there are good ones out there but they are few and far between.

i totally agree with you. honesty and communication are in fact the most I'mportant parts of a relationship. i don't know why it is that so many people like to play head games. im 26 and i have never played head games with a guy. i know girls that have and liked to play head games but to me i just don't see a point. maybe the people that like to play games are just cold hearted people that like to toy with peoples emotions. :)

Most people don't want to be honest about how they feel because they expect that they will get used and abused for it. Covering it up is a defense mechanism.

The best that you can do is to remain open and not play back.

i hear ya man...i hate this.. but to be honest, if i didnt play along w/ games, i would never meet a chick. thats sad. i dont get it either. actually i just met a chick and we been playing phone games to see what happens.
