This has happened to me three times already but when i like someone i try to tell them but i'm too shy... so i decide to talk to their best friend and try to ask him a favor to hook us up...
he tries helps me but then i fall into a trap where they end up telling me that they like me... but i only like him as a friend now i don't know if i should stop liking my crush or get to know my crush's friend... i'm lost :-(

He just likes you because he sees that you're interested in another guy. Ditch your friend's feelings for a while and go get your man. He is only being selfish and now realizes "oh I can't let her move on because someone else will have her" bullcrap. But never ask a guy out. let him ask you out, you only look desperate telling your male friends to "hook" you up. Its not lady like. Show interest but geez don't make it so obvious. Also, stop being so damn shy. Shy does not get you anywhere. Be outgoing and show them guys you are too good for them not they're too good for you.

uh because your messenger boy gets to know the real you. the one that the shy you has been tucking away from society. if it has happened to you three times, i would bet you have a pretty desirable personality. you should come out of your shell. dont be afraid, you are obviously a magnificent person.

You're basically telling your crushe's friend that you're available. To most guys, that's like raising a large red flag with the words "Here I Am, Come Get Me" on it. They react accordingly. ;-)
