There are many options out there that will make your editing job easier and enjoyable.

Look at Adobe Premiere Elements and Ulead StudioStudio 10 - both are about $100.

If you want a program to edit it for you and insert transitions, cuts, and music, then try a program like muvee autoProducer 5. You can read a review of that here (http://dvdigest.net/News.asp?NewsID=41)

If thats all you want to add, you dont need "the best." Windows movie maker if you have windows, or imovie, if you have mac is all you need. There are tons of programs out there that say "Create hollywood style effects, and become the next Spielberg." It's bullshit. Hope this helps!
