The Catechism of the Catholic Church states,

Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.

Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.

All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.

With love in Christ.

The answer is no. In Catholicism, all non-Catholics do not go to hell. They may, depending upon how they lead their lives, all go to heaven. Some may get better rewards than others, but it is not necessarily so that non-Catholics are forbidden from receiving the benefits of the afterlife.

Generally speaking, all religions believe their's to the one true religion, but the historical roots, generally speaking, of this phrase with Catholicism go back to the separate development of Orthodox Christianity in Byzantium, east of Rome. Rome believed this offshoot to be inferior to itself. Rome considered itself the true religion and the offshoot an inferior replica. That is, false.

Over time, the Catholic Church had to take into account people who had never even heard of Christ and it developed the idea that non-Catholics, generally speaking, are not to be condemned. Even people who have other beliefs may not be condemned since there may be mitigating circumstances for their not embracing a Catholicism.

So, the answer is no. Non-Catholics are not necessarily condemned to hell.

This is a long page, but if you read the last few paragraphs, which conclude the page quite nicely, you'll have some evidence for my claims.

there is no true religion..
Its whatever you believe..
whatever makes you happy and makes you live a good and positive life...
there is no hell..
there is no pearly gates..
along time ago a very popular man made people paranoid and said if you don't follow me your nothing.. Think of it like high school.. The popular jock.. if you don't hang with the click.. your a nobody.. Same thing.. if "supposedly" you don't believe in god or have a different religion than the next person your gonna go to hell..its a lie..
thats the corporate world for ya
Its just not real.

Just make sure you live your life right and do the write things.. IE don't kill people, don't steal, don't do drugs.. and you will live a happy life until the day you die. And when you die.. you die.. thats it.
Do you actually believe Dogs and other animals go to heaven?
I didn't think so.. so why would you believe in such a thing?

but again.. my opinion.. think what you must..

Catholic is true religion, but not all Catholics go to heaven. That is the gloriously divine realm open for all people who do the Will of the One True God and not reserved to any people who bear religious names! In order to know and to do the Will of God, all men can learn from the Holy Books. In this case, people who bear no religious names, but learning and practicing sincerely the divine teachings may equitably have greater chance to be accepted before the Divine Throne.

I dont think I have ever been damned by a Catholic ... they seem to be more open to everyone having the potential to be in heaven than other sects of Christianity
just because someone preaches the one true faith ... does not mean they are judgemental and condemning or that their teachings are either

Of course not.

It is possible for one to come to believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior but fail to recognize Catholicism as the One, Holy, Univerasal, and Apostolic Church.

This, in and of itself, does not constitute grounds for damnation.
