For an answer to ur question, first, men and women pray in separate parts in the mosques, even if it's just a wall dividing them or anything, cuz in the muslim prayers, there's a need to bend over and the most important thing in the prayers is to have ur attention to god, so for the possible chance of having men looking at women in the prayers and having their attention out of prayers, they pray separate. IF they have to pray together in the same place, men stand in front and women stand in the back for the same reason I mentioned.
For the second part of ur question, there's 5 prayers a day that a muslim should do. Each prayer has its own time of allowance, I mean it has a special time for the start and a period of time that u r still allowed to pray that prayers. The prayer itself doesn't take more than 5 min. but there's a time of about 3 hrs or more for each prayer, incase someone can't do it as early as the allowance time begins. Well if someone misses the prayer at the time he should have done it, then he has to do it as soon as he gets time for it, just for the beginning of his prayers he has to have in mind that this is for a makeup for the prayers he missed(there's a thing called niyya which means that in the beginning u mention which prayers ur doing). But it's a sin to delay ur prayers by purpose and think of it that u can do it later for a makeup.
hope my answer helped

Yes men and women still pray separately. The men in front and the women in the back. This has to do with modesty. I would not like for some strange man to be praying behind me while I am prostrating. In the Mosque that I attend there is no wall, screen, or room dividing the women, only the space between the women's and men's lines.

We pray 5 times a day, this is to remind us that God is always with us. Each prayer has a certain number of rakat (or units of prayer). A prayer (salat) consist of two to four units (rakat). If you happen to miss a prayer. On your next prayer you must ask God to except that you are making it up now and you preform the number of rakat missed plus the rakat for the payer you are about to preform plus one.

An employer cannot tell you that you cannot preform your prayer. This would go against your 1st Amendment rights.

there is a really cool documentary on gender dynamics in the mosque called "Me and the Mosque". Unfortunately the number of gender seperated mosques are on the rise in the Americas, but there are still a lot of mosques where men and women pray in the same room.

If prayer time falls during work hours some people with private offices or rooms that their employers allow them to use will take a break to pray- others wait til they get home or skip that prayer altogether....it really depends on the importance the individual puts on the need to pray regularly at the prescribed times.

First of all There is no concept of progressive Mosque or Conservative Mosque. Masjid is Masjid.

Second women can not pray side by side but as a respect to woman it advisable to provide separate portion for ladies or in the back side of men's lines to protect woman's privacy and respect there dignity.

Muslim can pray in any break time because most of the time we get enough time to perform at least Fard Salah. Or Muslim can pray as Qaza (as early as possible) if employer does not allow time during working hours and there is no other jobs available.

Men and Women pray seperately in Mosques. There are usually seperate rooms. If a muslim has to skip prayer (salaat) because of work hours. He can add the (salaat) to his next prayer. Praying 5 times can be hard if you have a busy schedule.

women and men usually pray separately(i.e separated by a curtain or wall) but sometimes when they do not pray separately women stand behind men
(Reason: while performing the actions the figure of the women may be revealed therefore they stand behind men
another reason may be that some women cover their faces but while praying u cant cover ur face therefore to save them discomfort the stand behind)

And u can always take a break from work to say ur salah it takes hardly 5-10 mins but in circumstances beyond ur control if u have sum prob w/ praying at the alloted time then u can pray zuhr&asr together at zuhr's time and maghrib&Isha 2gether at isha's time

Muslim men arn't as religious as they pretend because when they come in and talk to you and no one is around they try to approach you and I know they're married. They shouldn't do that. They're hypocrites. I'm scared of some of them because of how they act. I think they are evil. Dirty minded. Just dirty old men. My Mom says, Men are just like dogs in the street.

I saw some Muslim men on that computer child molesting show where they came to meet a young girl. There were lots of them that came. Praying don't make you a good person.

I see no reason to give respect to Muslims on this board when they do not give respect to Americans and American Christians. The shame for what has occurred belongs to them. Maybe not directly to the Muslim who didn't do anything or financially support or help in any way but still it is their people, their faith, their religion and their religious teachings that started this mess. So I am still waiting for Muslims to step up to the plate and show us that they feel some regret, some remorse, some apology to us for what has happened but all I see is arrogance. anger and them complaining that America is not treating them right at the Air Ports or they are being abused.I'm getting tired of being the nice guy. Nobody appreciates us, America, anymore. Were too nice. We bend over backwards to give everyone rights. And it is never enough. Don't blame America for the deaths blame Osama and his Muslim idiot buddy's.

I'm not sure they always follow the rules. I'm thinking they bend them a lot of the time. Like when they are killing people, chopping off other peoples heads, shooting people in the back of the head and burning up vehicles and raping and attacking those that don't believe like them. Oh, and lets not forget when they are busy making bombs and blowing themselves up. They have been so busy lately destroying the lives of good people all over the world, I'm not sure they are following the praying rules. That hate problem they have, I think, gets in the way.
