Will deep conditioning prevent/stop split ends?

cutting the split ends will be a good option,and then continuing with deep conditioning will definitely prevent split ends

It depends on why you have split ends. If it's your health, maybe some changes need to be made. If the deep conditioner is too harsh for your hair, it can do more harm than good. Generally speaking though, deep conditioning rarely causes problems. Find one that moisturizes your hair. Also, try a detangler. It helps prevent breakage when combing by reducing the amount of tugging and pulling on your hair.

I've been told that Vaseline will help repair split ends... but I think the best thing for them is to have them cut off ...start fresh... then do the whole deep conditioning thing to prevent more split ends... anywho... yeah.. split ends bite. See ya =)

a good conditioner can rebuild protein in the hair shaft,add moisture,and protect hair from sun and heat (tools) A trim every 5 weeks or so along with a GOOD hair treatment will prevent split ends...the trim will stop the hair from splitting.Bumble and Bumble are the ones I recommend.

you may not rid them like that, in the event that they are already there then the only thank you to rid them is to shrink them off although, deep conditioning can avert you from coming up greater chop up ends :)
