As far as I know, our main job is to experience the joy of fellowship with our creator.

No humans in heaven will not be promoted to become angels.
Angels are lower than humans in heaven because angels will serve humans there. The angels are beautiful and young whose jobs are serving humans.Humans have no job Allah gives humans a relax, happy. and convenience living. We can eat what we like We can sleep if we like it.There are many rivers .We can drink milk, khamar, honey etc.All what we need we can meet it as rewards from Allah/God for our good doings in this world.

In comparison to our life here, life there is much more beautiful and we are more powerful than angels. That is the spiritual world, we don't have the physical body to do funny jobs as we do on earth. Our main concern there is to learn more about the Will of the One True God and to enjoy the amazing glory in His mercy.

We are not going to heaven. If we die before Armageddon, we remain asleep in death until we are resurrected. [ Rev. 20; 2.13] and then if we accept God's new system with Jesus as King, we then get a new life in the flesh back on earth, where the wicked influence of Satan has been removed. Psalms 37; 9,11,29,34.
