Who says we do this? You're a guy, and that's the women you've met ask them they are the ones that do it. From my perspective nerds always seem to be cocky, eventhough they don't try to be. Like anyone who knows too much they always come off as if they're trying to teach everyone or everyone around them is lesser and not as smart as they are. No one likes to feel inferior. I know I don't. We want someone who knows what they're talking about, but not too immature to commit or tell us how they feel. Get it?

Women that do this are just shallow, i mean, women normally go for older guys, generally because they grow up quicker than boys their own age and want more mature guys.
But why on earth a girl would turn down an intellegent guy i do not know, perhaps they're just jealous because they're smarter than them?
I know i'd prefer an intellegent guy rather than a dumb one!

Because, just like guys, they want The Perfect Mate. They want someone who is intelligent and mature, but they also want someone with social skills and a great tukus.

I think it depends on the girl.
I personally love these so-called "nerds", but have yet to find one interested enough to date me.

It depends how close they are to a specific holiday. That way they can pressure their men into spending more money on the gifts they expect to receive.
