How long does advocaat keep once it's been open?

Once opened you're supposed to keep it in the fridge, think it can only be kept for a month or so. Good excuse to drink more!

ah advocaat. should keep quite long but put in fridge. in future buy smaller bottle just in case. how do you drink yours? i tried making a milkshake with mine or mixing with gingerale. ask the ppl at the bottlestore.

In my house it is a rule that if a bottle is opened - it is finished - all booze goes off in hours if not drunk - thats my excuse anyway! Oh, its disgusting by the way - try a bloody mary and then advance down the slippery pole with whisky.

its fine for up to about 2 and a half dont be worried about the eggs in it because its mixed with alcohal which stops things from going off its true alcohal can last a long time once opened

The bottle I have says to consume within six months of opening. Check on the bottle.

Once opened, keep it in the fridge. It tastes better chilled, anyway.

i assume you mean avocado? if you cut it in half, leave the pit on one side and wrap it right against the flesh so that no air can get at it and then wrap it again and again, even. you will still have to eat it within a day or 2. you will probably still have to scrape the outer flesh as it will turn brown.

if kept in the fridge i would say i month is pressing it and yes it does taste better chilled
