You can sin all you want, as long as you confess it on Sunday, and kill, torture, and rape Altar boys, as long as you repent on your deathbed, and all is cleared? Is this really how it is supposed to be?

Confession is usually done on Saturday, not on a general Mass day, like Sunday. Obviously, the only thing you know about the Catholic church is the drivel you see in the news. The Catholics were in fact, the first Christians! And while in the Middle Ages, the church was corrupt, it has, for the most part, become a great form of Christianity that allows for LESS hypocrisy that say you Evangelicals, who preach love, and the word of God, but only for those things which they approve of!

I can't say that you're wrong but it's the same thing to me as becoming a born again Christian. You get a 'fresh start' and you are freed from your sinful past life. It seems like you can sin your entire life but as long as you become 'born again' right before you die, then you are 'ok'.

Not really. The repentance still must come from the heart, just as in anybody else's case.

well, you are supposed to repent. This means that you must truly feel sorry for your sins and promise you will never do them again. As for repention on your death bed, it doesn't count if you repent because you are afraid of going to hell
