Well, there is this one girl that I have liked fo a couple of months now, but I cant put myself together to ask her out. She is one of the more popular people, but Im afraid if I ask her out ,the other football players that she talks to are gonna be mad at me. Can anyone give me some advice to break the ice and start?

I agree with Rich A.
And I might be in a situation somewhat similar to yours in a couple of months. You know what I'll do, I'll just wing it.
Why stress so much about it? Oh because you might lose their friendship or simply be rejected, coldy or not, its rejection.
So jus wing it and do it, the sooner the better-- less stress :]

Call her at home and start a conversation. Build a friendship where both of you will feel more comfortable around each other. Then just pop the question. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. If she says she'd like to go out with you, that would be great. If she doesn't want to go out with you, then just move on to the next girl. Don't put your whole stock into one lady. At least not yet.

You have to invite her to go do something with you. I don't know what you people do around there. But the best idea is to get her away from the school before you put the moves on her. ask her if her and her friend wants to go with you and your friend somewhere. that always takes some pressure off.

Find out something she enjoys an activity of some sort. Than ask her to go do it with you she'll be really comfortable then ask away the key is confidence on your part and making her comfortable.

i would say just start speak to her more if you don't already and then speak to her on her own and see how she feels about you. forget about the other people its up to her at the end of it. Dont worry!
