It is not psychic powers, but acute senses. They can sense things through sound and smell much greater than we can.

i believe wot people say about earthquakes. but i do believe some dogs r psychic. only because i have seen how my moms dog used to react when my mom was coming home. it used to take her 15 mins to walk from the bus stop to her house. that dog knew she was coming he would start pacing up and down and moan until she walked through the door. she didn't come home at regular times so there was no set patten. i don't believe in ghouls or gods or anything that's not right in front of my face but that dog was always spot on!

Not being able to talk that have to rely more on other senses. They feel earthquakes through their feet for the ground starts to tremble before you get the big one. I doubt that they are psychic

No dogs are not psychic, but their senses of smell and hearing are much more acute than ours. Your dog probably heard the earthquake before you felt it.

Why did all the animals run to the hills before the tsunami struck, why when I was in Greece did all the dogs howl before the earth quake struck, it is all one of life's little mysterys, we are all born with psychic powers, but most people lose them as they grow, some, the unfortunate ones, keep them.

It has nothing to do with psychic powers. Dog's sense of smell and sense of hearing are very strong. I believe they can also sense, vibrations.

Dogs can sense changes in the barometer./weather, hear storms well before we do, and feel earthquakes before they get to us..They also have an extremely good sense of smell, so they can smell when people are nervous, angry, etc..
Many dogs can detect the slightest changes in their people, and as such make good seizure detection dogs, or hypoglycemia detection dogs..
The breed that I raise has a well developed ESP...it is often startling!
