Everytime i use the mouse my hand pains. I can shift from computer to computer and still there is no difference. Is this a medical problem or just a normal irritation. Please advice.

It sounds like you need to check with a doctor. If the pain is specifically in your hand, it could be arthritis (even very young people can get this), and if it's more in your wrist area, it could be carpal tunnel syndrome. Or, it could be just keeping your hand in one position for too long irritates it. Whatever it is, if the pain is severe, check with your doctor.

It is probably repetive stress syndrome...or carpal tunnel. Yes it is a medical problem. There are ways to set up a keyboard to do the same functions as a mouse that help with the strain on the hands and there is a surgery that can help...except the surgery won't do much if you go back to doing the same things you did before the surgery, in fact the problem will simply return.

Lay a book or a folded hand towel or something to raise your wrist into a more level line. This eliminates the discomfort for me.

Or you can wear a wrist brace that keeps it in a straight line and takes the bridge out of the wrist/hand connection.

The nerves entering the carpal tunnel are being stressed in a slightly uncomfortable position for too long, causing the pain.
