Why do some people feel so compelled to preach about God, Jesus and christianity in EVERY thing they say?

One recent example:
On Yahoo! Answers, here, I saw a reference to Jesus in an answer to a WRESTLING question. And there are so many more I could recall. Some people just drop the subject in anywhere and everywhere. What makes them want to do that?

Because you (Non Christian I take it) and most other people like you are still seeing and perceiving life and all it's intricacies of the world that manifest itself from it, from a lower physical earthly point of view. Unlike you and most other people who haven't yet come to accept the Lord Jesus Christ into their life and never being baptized in the Holy Spirit. We do see and understand our surroundings and perceive them in their intricacies with a view from the Holy Spirit (which is in all of us who accept God's gracious gift to Mankind), on a higher Spiritual Plain. In no way does this make us better than you, just different. We have stepped out of the world. We may live in this world but we're not part of it. We are now considered God's Saints and heirs to the Kingdom of God. We now have a clearer more spiritually discerning view of the World situations and manfestations. We Can see and understand, right from wrong. Good from bad. Truth from lies. Light from Darkness. There is freedom from sin in Obeying Gods Word His Will and His Ways and with that new Spiritual awarness comes the True Love of God our Father which is instilled in us that brings Joy and peace and comfort in knowing that if we do endure in our faith to the end, we will have that Glorified Spiritual being body and that crown that comes with it. We live our life for our Father God through His Son Jesus Christ who died for us as the perfect human sacrifice so that we might have the right to become the children God and reign with Jesus Christ as joint heirs in the Kingdom of God on earth for 1000 years. I won't go into any more detail about what's next but you should have somewhat of an understanding now about why we like to brag about our Father and Brother so much. We have every reason to.

Some people with an obsessive hobby make that their identity. There are vegetarians who can't shut up about "soy this, soy that, soy, soy, soy." There are crazy cat people who have a dozen cats in a house covered in cat posters, cat paintings, cat-shaped appliances, and books about cats. And there are the Jesus freaks - same problem, different focus.

They're not terribly interesting people, and they don't have muich going for them in the personality department, so they find one thing they understand, they latch onto it, and they make it the sole focus of their life. They become the crazy vegetarian, or the crazy cat lady, or the crazy religious nut in the hopes that it will give them some semblance of character, anything to set them apart from the crowd.

Generally speaking...there are zealots everywhere. They all have one thing in common... they only know about their own beliefs. This is to say... when speaking to a zealot, they are only interested in telling you their thoughts, or beliefs and are not interested in what you may have to say about any contrasting views of your own.
Basically they are boring and abnoxious.
They work themselves into a lather on Sundays about the glories of heaven. However when it seems clear they are about to depart this world, they get on their knees and pray for more time. If heaven is such a great place why aren't they all bording the express?

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64 -Narrated 'Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was just nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).


Muslims keep lying that Muhammad is clean. Sure, as clean as faecal water.

The Islamic Q’uran is NON-Contextual and relies on the Bukhari to paint its backdrops. (Top 2 most ‘holy’ Islamic books). These teachings are prevalent throughout the book.

Bukhari:V4B52N260 “The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him!’”
Qur’an 5:51 “Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends.”
Bukhari [4:52:177]: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him!"

Bukhari, V1B4N234: "A group of people from the Oreyneh and Oqayelh tribes came to the prophet to embrace Islam, the prophet advised them to drink the urine of the camels. Later on when they killed the prophet's shepherd, the prophet seized them, gouged out their eyes, cut their hands and legs, and left them thirsty in the desert to die."


THOUGH THE ISLAMIC ALLAH WANTS MUSLIMS TO KILL ALL NON-MUSLIMS, MANY MUSLIMS ARE NOT DOING SO AT THIS MOMENT (WITH DISAPPOINTMENT FROM THE FUNDAMENTALIST ISLAMISTS) BECAUSE THEY ARE NOW ENJOYING THEMSELVES, SOME AFRAID OF REPRISALS. DON'T THINK FOR A MOMENT THAT MUSLIMS ARE PEACEFUL. IF THEY SEEM TO BE, THEY ARE ACTUALLY NON-PRACTICING MUSLIMS.

Christians are taught to live a clean life and tell people about their salvation. You may be relieved to know a small percentage of us actually do as we are taught. Jesus told his followers "go ye therefore and be fishers of men". Meaning "spread the word". It beats murdering non-believers as some religions teach.

1) They're excited about their faith, and they want to share with everyone!

2) They're just trying to be annoying.

3) They aren't Christians at all, but part of the vast liberal atheistic conspiracy that tries to drive people away from Christianity by behaving in stereotypically obnoxious behavior!

Jesus is what defines them. I consider myself religious so it is difficult to say something nasty, but hey, it does get annoying.

On the positive side, at least this is their quirk and the quirk isn't something violent or self-destructive.

They just have a few sentences and scripture extract to answer any question or situation. It's a form of mental disorder.
