While we may not be able to control the events of our lives, we do have control (should we choose to take it) over how we view those events.

I choose to believe than I have an effect on the circumstance of my life, and by extension, an effect on the larger world. I will continue to act as if this were true.

" I am only one,
But still I am one.
I cannot do everything,
But still I can do something.
And because I cannot do everything
I will not refuse to do
The something that I can do."

-Edward Everett Hale

Are you referring to the belief that the sign of the zodiac that you're born under determines the course of your life? Because that's a lie from the god of this world, Lucifer and as the father of lies all he can do is lie. A person can go through a true life-changing experience. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus as Lord and savior they receive new life and their old life, their belief in astrology and all things occult, lose all the power they held over that person.
