No he wasn't shy he just didn't want to talk to you, this guy in my junior year did the same thing. I liked him and he used to stare and wave at me all the time. We had journalism class together and he was always making his way over near me because all his friends were over there. Times he would just look at me. I never said a word to him, then I stopped liking him, and I am with a guy that I love and adore now. He liked me, but he just didn't like me enough to say anything so he lost his chance. Now I'm taken and he's working at the movie theatres drooling whenever I see him there. It's so pathetic. If he likes you, he'll say something, if he doesn't, he doesn't like you enough. Would it just have hurt to say hello? That's just common courtesy, but he said nothing. You deserve so much better sweetie. Move on. Good luck babe! Love is never forbidden and is always reciprocated, which means returned or on both ways, remember that child. It's not love sweetie, you'll live.

Number one it depends on whether or not that was his good friend. If it was a good friend then as a guy he doesn't want him to know his inner most feelings. it is a sign of weakness. Number two it could also be that he is playing how guys are taught to play, and that is hard to get. By playing hard to get he is obviously piquing your interest and making you even more enamored with him. On the other side of the coin, from a girls point of view... He may like you but not in the way that you are hoping. The best way to approach this issue is to try and get him to your self and see how he really feels through not necessarily deceptive questions but questions that are loaded so that you can get the real meaning without him openly giving away his feelings. Remember above all guys are trained to not give away emotions, that is how they get beat up and picked on, both equally uncomfortable situations.

It's obvious that you're still a teen ager. What you feel is but just normal, and based on my assesment, both of you feels the same way.On the other side, dont expect too much on the guy's gesture. His act of smiling and staring to you might mean that,he is only trying to return the smile and looks you are giving to him,or either,he's but trying to be friendly. One more thing, you are not inlove, you yourself had stated you had a huge crush on him.Just beware,if ever, let him be the first one to come close to you or approach you.Not the other way around.
