Military take over - no, but you have already taken over our telemarketing jobs. As a finacial power, You can't take over America. Based on India's aerspace program recent successes, I think India will colonise another planet before America.

India is a conundrum. On one hand you have abject poverty and on the other hand you have a high tech country with a class of highly educated citizens. India could very well have a very negative economic impact on the US if companies continue to outsource jobs that pay well here in the US.
