What are some good pranks to pull that don't really waste anything, or ruin/hurt anyone/thing?

Take a quarter and a standard NO. 2 pencil. On a piece of paper trace the outline of the quarter several times around the paper. Have the victim try to roll the quarter down their nose and have the quarter land on one of the circles. After a while they'll unknowingly have several black marks down their nose.
Be sure to touch the quarter when tracing to get lots of lead on it.

Good college, military etc. prank: Use clear fingernail polish over someones primary bar of BATH soap [put it carefully back into soap dish/box] and tell
others to wait 'till they come out of shower or yell complaints that stupid soap doesn't work!

Take someone out for a night of drinking make sure they get trashed and then convince them they murdered someone. Cover the room in blood you get from the butcher shop, put a knife/gun/other weapon in their hands and then just wait for them to wake up.

fill a closed umbrealla with anything that is fairly light and won't make much noise e.g talcum powder and wait for someone to open it

well getting a rotton egg/food and putting it in/under the foot of someones bed...
or get a key board and make it sound like the door bell, hide somewhere and do the door bell noise

one which never really works unless its in the morning when the guy is half asleep is you can cover a toilet with saran wrap then watch him pee everywhere.......or if you want to be really mean you can take dog sh1t and put it in a paper bag, bring it to someones doorstep light it on fire, ring the bell and run

tape the handle of the kitchen sink sprayer hose. make sure the hose is aiming out.
when person turns on kitchen sink water it will spray them.
