I'm not like a major in a foreign language and I'm completely sincere when I say this but, don't you want to speak a foreign language with the accent of the locals speaking that language?

Or do you mean like, I speak fluent Italian but when I'm speaking English I do not want to have an Italian accent? In that case it's all practice! You really have to listen to the natives and understand the way they speak.

Practice, practice, practice. It can be done, I've proven it, but it takes a lot of hard work and determination. Also try to not speak your native language if you can, but speak only the language you are learning, a.k.a. complete emergion. Get somebody to practice words with you that are difficult for you to pronounce.

Good luck!

you spend a lot of time practicing the language as well as accent. as we get older it gets harder, and it is particularly difficult to learn new vowl sounds... it takes a good ear and good discipline to really adopt a foreign accent.
