i live on my own with a roomate and i work mostly nights,it sounds like it could work but finacialy can i even do it??iv heard of fasfa andgoverment aid but how much can i actully get.i dont make much as a cook. getting my g.e.d wont be a problem since iv already done one test so far...has anyone gone thru this before?

You need to get your GED before college. Your community college usually has a GED program. Congratulations on continuing your education. Based on my experience anyone can do it.

Get your GED at a Community College, and then apply to the Community College to get started. You may want to take placement test.
