I met a guy, we hit it off instantly! We've been "dating" for about three weeks. He calls almost every day, and when we both have free time we are together. I stayed at his place a few nights ago, after watching a movie, talking a laughing, and laying in his arms, he all of a sudden says..."I'm not looking for anything serious". He is still calling everyday, and we are planning to go out this weekend. Help! What's this about?

I'm not really sure that I want anything serious either, and i don't think that I said anything at any point to indicate that I did. I don't even know what he meant by serious really. Why would he say that if he enjoys spending time with me. He had to try very hard and do some serious persuading to get my # in the first place. He was very cute and sweet, but I don't give my # out very easily.

WHEW!! This dude must not be that interested!! Wow--- If you ask me, he sounds like a jerk.
--Especially if he said that to you while you were LAYING IN HIS ARMS!
But it really seems to me that he's just LEADING YOU ON.

He might be just scared!
He says he is not looking for something serious, but so far his actions speak louder than words...it does not sound like he is trying to use you for sex (if I understood correctly you haven't had any yet); therefore, if he is calling all the time etc. even if he does not want to, the way you make it sound, it is going to be inevitable!!! Just ignore what he said, hang in there, love is not something you plan...I met my love just like that, too, just that I was the one saying, hey, I am not ready...well, I didn't think I was, but he showed me that 'love' is not a word to be scared of...it just grows on you!!!
