In color TV there are three basic color guns, red, blue and green.
These 3 colors when overlayed in different amounts produce any other color. Equal amounts of all 3 basic colors produce the color white. Convergence is the alignment of the 3 guns to overly exactly. If only 1 gum is slightly out of alignment, the picture appears as a ghost image.

convergence has several meanings. exact meaning is something to come together as if to meet or join.we can also say that tend to meet at a point.
