その家のオーナーが、 私自身の家を持つのに手助けしてくれているのですが、 彼が長期支払いに十分理解を示してくれているという理由により、 その家を失うことを好ましく思いません。

By the way, isn't your original sentense kind of confusing for the two "because" clauses? I would divide them to separete sentenses to make it clearer.
