Depends on the religion. Probably the most classic example is the swastika. (Please do not send me hate mail calling me a Nazi, the symbol did not take on it's negative meaning until after WW2) The Swastika has been around for a long time (dating back to the Neolithic period) and has been used by many cultures around the world as a symbol for luck. You even used to find them in churches.

In Egypt, symbols like the Eye of Horus and Scarab beetle were considered lucky and used to protect people from "evil." In India and China, the Elephant is considered a symbol of luck and longevity. Pendents and statues made out of Jade were considered particularly lucky. You also have the laughing Buddha (Hotei), which is thought to bring happiness by rubbing his belly

The Norse used to consider the acorn a symbol of luck and good fortune. And of course horseshoes and four leaf clovers are considered lucky. The shamrock was considered lucky in ancient Ireland (and still is today). Rabbits, which are supposed to bring luck to matters of the heart and pocket book.

Catholics also wear medals of their patron saints for good luck, such as St Christopher, St. Micheal, St. Pio, and Our Lady of Guadalupe.
