Funny, your question reminds me of my choices when it was my career choice time. I knew it would be advertising (like Darren Stevens) or something to do with computers. Turns out I did both - I became a graphic designer working with marketing and advertising agencies.

My point being if these are your choices, then you might think about how you can combine these things. I have a friend who is an animla communicator available through a web site - that kind of combines all 3, wouldn't you say?

Alternatively I say programmer, because the sky is the limit and it does not have you mired in other people's tragedy day after day.

Peace!

veterinarian. A psychologist has to deal with other people's emotional baggage, which seems too depressing and stressful. A programmer just plugs away at a computer all day - how boring. A vet would be the best option, although dealing with animal funk doesn't sound all that appealing

I love animals so much. I have always dreamed about becoming a veterinarian since I was 5 years old. I'm actually still pursuing that dream now and I'm an Animal Science major, soon to be finished! My second option would be similar to what your dream job is. I have taken some field courses in which I have traveled to other countries to do my own personal research on wildlife, it was an experience I will not forget! Animal Behavior really intrigues me as well, so I was very excited to do behavioral ecology research. I want to gain as much knowledge about animals as I can and provide the best quality life I can to my future patients. Also, it's so cool that you're into archaeology. I have also taken a field course in archaeology and it taught me so much. It was cool to look at bones and figure out whether it was human or animal and what the cause of death was! Seems like you and I have similar career interests :)

I would be a computer programmer because, as much as I love animals I could never stand to see one sick so, therefore I couldn't be a Vet. As far as a Psychologist goes, I would think that hearing other people's problems would just make me to sad.

psychologist. I don't like all animals, although I do have fish at home. Computer programmers are geeks and psychology is really cool because humans are interesting species. It would feel nice to cure some one and help them out to do good in life.

veterinarian - but if you plan on being a clinician you have to be able to deal with annoying clients and animals that bite, scratch or kick. Plus cleaning up some nasty things.
