Buying my first car, I was given a Civic by my parents a few years ago after university, but now it's time to buy my first car, kinda excited. What car should I be looking at? I am torn between the praticality of a sedan and the sportiness of a coupe. I am from Toronto so the car has to be driven everyday, soemtimes in the snow, but I will take the car to the track occasionally, I prefer foreign over domestic, but it doesn't have to be foreign, and I prefer used over new, maximum spending limit is $30 000.

Thanks everyone.

The cars that I am looking at seriously now are...

03 BMW 3 series coupe (2.5 or 2.8 engine)
03 Infiniti G35 coupe or sedan
04 Acura TSX
03 Audi A4

or something else but has to be along the lines of the cars above,

Thanks

G35,

It's a really fun car to drive with great performance, but it has the style and class of a luxury car.

You see BMW 3 series all over the place which makes me get sick of them, they are actually designed to hook your age demographic into the BMW name so you will buy more expensive BMW's once you are older (BMW sells them at a pretty low margin level). Not nearly as much horespower as the G35. That being said they are a well made car.

04 Acura TSX-a nice car, but more or less an upgraded Honda Accord. If you want dependability though this is the car for you.

03 Audi A4-if you live in the mountains (or anywhere with windy roads), the 4 wheel drive with this car would be really nice. It will handle really well, but I still personally like the G35 more depending on where you live.

One side note, if gas mileage is your main priority, the G35 will most likely your worst choice with the Acura TSX being the best. The maintenance record on the G35 will also most likely be the worst out of the 4 (but still much better than your average car).

In the end cars all comes down to personal preference.

Go with the G35 coupe. You're young, no need to be too practical.

Buy something that will last you a long time. Cars are a huge waste of money, so it's best to get something you can get your money's worth out of....

dude, test drive each of them and then make up your mind. I 'd aslso suggest a 2007 Chevrolet Impala SS with the leather and chrome intererior and the V8 engine.

I still go with my last response to this question bro. I don't change my mind to quickly. You left the Maxima off of this list though. Still, you have sweet taste.
