Hell yes, here's what I'd to.
I'd create the world, make every possible piece of evidence point to all organized religions being false, inspire many religions throughout history claiming if you do not follow their belief systems, you will suffer eternally, pick a random one, and send anyone who is not lucky enough to pick the right religion to just that, eternal suffering!!!

If I were God I probably couldn't put up with humans. But, yes, I would expect worship in the form of respect and obedience. As parents we expect our children to respect and obey us. And as we lavish love on them we expect (not demand) love in return.

Worship is not a requirement it a desirement, of each individual it's giving adoration to a higher power for who he is. worship according to who he is to you.
