well when and where did you adopt your child from? that's the place to start. how long ago was it?

That depends. If you know her full name and where she resides, or where she used to reside, you certainly can do a yellow pages type search for a minimal fee. Was the adoption closed? Meaning private and through an attorney or agency where the mother did not want any contact? If that is the case, it may be very difficult to find her. If however, the agency, or the attorney has limited info. on her, you may be able to have them facilitate letters, emails, requests. There may be fees with this. Or, you can always hire a private investigator. In any case, the more info, you have on her, the better. Was she military? Where did she work? do you know if she had any siblings? etc., Good Luck, I am sure this is information your son or daughter will most likely appreciate one day.
