Listen to Tracy Nelson's music She has an amazing alto blues voice! Her music is less performed than the standards, but is exceptional blues.
Two of my favorites of hers are "Living with the Animals" and "Down So Low" from her days with Mother Earth. They were on the album "Living with the Animals"
