What does it mean if my girl friend wears a pony tail all the time?

Is it a bad thing that she wears a pony tail or a good thing?

I asked her to wear it down... lets see if she does it... im getting both good and bad answers and she isnt a tomboy! and its probally that she doesnt have enough time in the morning to do it probally...

she is on the dance team...

A lot of dancers and athletic types wear their hair back simply to keep it out of their face as they are participating in their activity. It has nothing to do with good or bad. It has to do with vision and neatness. I wouldn't worry about it. She probably doesn't realize that she is doing it all the time because it is natural for her.

I don't think you have the right to "tell" her how to do anything, but maybe she will wear it in different ways sometimes, now that you've asked. It doesn't mean she's a tomboy at all, and if she dances then it's obviously just easier for her. I really don't think you should get so anxious about something so trivial. Do you not like it when she wears a ponytail? If you would like her to do other things with her hair other than a ponytail then take her to a salon and get her to cut it all wild and sexy. Suggest layers or the choppy look...something sultry and hot. Make it look like a gift to help her relax and be pampered cause if she thinks you are trying to change her that could become a problem. Take her to the salon and let her get her hair cut and her nails done and a pedicure and eyebrow wax...whatever you want, just be prepared to spend some money!

It's a no thing. It probably means she's low maintence and doesn't feel like dealing with her hair all the time. A pony tail is easy way to do your hair without having to put a load of time into it.

she wants you to pull it. just kidding, actually a girl that wears a pony tail could be athletic or something like that. if not, she may not be too concerned about her appearance. this could be good or bad... she may be really comfortable with you and doesnt really feel that she has to impress you. if you are comfortable with her then its a good thing i guess. as long as she is hott right?

It probably means she is young at heart and wants to stay that way for a while. It does'nt really mean anything other then it is easy upkeep. I think you are reading to much into this. Try this if you would like to see her in a different hairstyle say like a french braid, offer to pay for it for her.

well it is a bad thing, if she wears pony tail all day long even at her house, tell her to let her hair down, if not, her hair will fall off her head eventually because she wears her hair up too much. it happened with my friend and my friend's hair is so thin now. and thats not beautiful.
