My bf's ex girl sms him last night i accidently saw it this morning when his alarm went off. He didnt reply, but why didnt he just told me?

There are two reasons.. he either is hiding something... although I don't think so or he would have answered her.. I think it is more he is not concerned by her and does not want you to worry about it.. It is not worth his time or energy.. You need to not be so concerned and trust him and his choice to guard you from unneeded worry..
Why are you so concerned about it! Why do you feel he is hiding.. Are you one who over analysis?

It may be as simple as he's not giving it a second thought. He didn't respond, so he doesn't care. He didn't erase it right away because it meant nothing to him. If it did, it'd be gone and you'd never would have seen it. Just ask him, don't confront him.
If I were in your place, I'd have replied back for him."Things are better here without you...biotch!"
If your bf asks how you saw the message, just tell him the same thing you just told us. You accidentally seen it when his alarm went off and you read it. If my now exwife had ever received a message from a past bf, I'd have looked at it in an instant. And then probably beat the crap out him til he got the hint to leave her alone. But that's just me. :)

Why is this a big deal? So his ex-girlfriend sent him a text message to ask him how things were going, that is nothing to worry about. Now if the text message said something like "Are you coming over tommorrow night?" you should be concerned, but this is nothing. Does he need to tell you every little thing regardless of how unimportant and insignificant it actually is? The text means nothing, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

If he didn't reply, good for him stop being a B about it. If you are that firkin insecure do him and you a favor and end it now. Is it his fault that his ex called? It just may be that he actually likes you better, don't ruin it by being stupid!

um, he isn't "hiding" anything from you...it really isn't your business who texts him.
If you ahv a problem with him talking to his ex as a friend, then you need to own up to seeing the text and ask him about it, letting him know how you feel.
