Okay, soo when i first meet a guy and he's interested in me, he'll tell me things about his ex-girlfriend that "disappoint him" and tell me how much of a good person I am. (not straight up but just from how and what he's saying, it seems i'm more of a girl he approves) About a couple months ago, I met this guy and it was kinda obvious he might have had a thing for me. On the phone, he RANDOMLY just mentioned, "yeah i was at the club and i saw my ex - she was dancing on tables - she's a regular dancing at the club..ehhh...whatever..." he didn't say straight up he hated it but you can tell he was annoyed. His ex was a good girl turned SCANDOLOUS. He's a "shy guy" type and loooves simple girls like me. sooo why would guys tell me problems about their exes like that?

Maybe he is feeling you out on your take on this kind of behavior before he hooks up with you. But then sometimes guys are just insensitive clods who don't realize bringing up old girlfriends doesn't make you feel very good. Go easy on him though, he's a man and you have to make allowances for that.LOL

you're a good listener and for some people they just have that thing about their personality that you can just tell them anything freely. i am that way. you meet me and can't just talk forever. i've never gotten with anyone that talks to me consistently but maybe you'll have some change.

Maybe he still has steam he needs to blow off and has no one else to talk to about it, and you seem trustworthy, so he decides to tell you about it. Or perhaps he's trying to reassure you that he is over her and why she wasn't for him so you will not think she dumped him because he was a jerk or something.

He's hurt by what she has done and he's hoping you will be a friend and listen.
